Content Management

IFAPortal websites have built in content management functionality.  In addition to the content that IFA Portals serve to your website covering everything from information, calculators and plugins to research links, each IFAPortal website can be edited and managed online by the adminstrator just by logging in.

You are free to add more information to your website of your choosing, and doing so is as simple as using a word processor;  just type in your text, and save it!

This means our website solutions offer you total flexibilty, we provide a core of useful information, but you are free to develop your website in a direction which best suits your business, and best of all without the expense of using a web designer.

ROLE & USER SECURITY MODEL

Security Roles
IFAPortal website solutions include a built in Role and User security model as standard.  Put simply this means your visitors can interact with your website; by managing roles you determine what they should be able to view/do/edit on your website.   

This presents numerous possibilties for utilising your IFAPortal website in a way that not only benefits your clients, but also your employees and therefore your business' efficiency.

For example, anyone that registers on your website is automatically assigned the role of "Registered User", you might choose to offer additional content in a members only area, that only your registered users can view.

You might create a role called "Employee", register all your people, and assign them to this role.  With view permissions they could access private areas to download information they need to do their jobs; with edit permissions individuals in this role could take responsibilty for updating different areas of your IFAPortal website.

These are just two examples, the opportunities are endless.
FILE MANAGEMENT

File Manager
With the built in File Manager it's a simple matter to upload a file, such as an image or pdf document, for use on your website. 

Files that are required when you add a module e.g a photograph for an image are simply uploaded from your computer to the server.  All of these files can be managed and deleted in one place ,  you can even add multiple folders to organise your files just like in Windows.

The File Manager can also be a great place to store your forms and documents, so that you can access them wherever you can access the Internet!
