We are currently experiencing problems with one of our servers. Client websites hosted on IP address 81.21.78.204 will be affected. Engineers are investigating.
Update: 12.48 pm : This server has suffered hardware failure. A new server is being provisioned and websites will be restored as soon as possible. Important: If IFA Portals manage your DNS settings we will configure to work with the new server. If you or a 3rd party manage your DNS, you must amend the DNS WWW A record to point to IP address. 94.136.39.13
Update: 3.15pm : The new hardware will be commissioned within the hour, then the process of restore will begin.
Update: 22.51pm : New server has been provisioned and configured. All platform 2 websites have been restored, configured and are now available*. Though this constitutes the bulk the affected websites, a number of older websites and some legacy email services remain impacted and we are working to resolve.
*DNS under our control has been amended and those sites are live to the public, but clients with domains hosted with other registrars will need to configure the new the www A record to IP Address 94.136.39.13.
Update: 06/07/10 : All legacy email services have now been restored. Unfortunately a very small number of older websites cannot be restored, we will be contacting those affected, to provide new services on the new platform.
Update:07/07/10 : Email sent to all impacted clients reminding them of the DNS amend needed. A letter will alos be going out today.
